YR Store x Velvet Jade – Create Your Own Co-Ord!

In a recent trip to Topshop In Oxford Circus, I was shopping on the lower ground floor when I came across this awesome pop-up from YR Store and Velvet Jade. The lower ground floor in Topshop is my favourite as it is filled with lots of different concessions and you really find some different and cool clothes and this awesome collaboration is just one of the many fab treasures to find.

YR Store have teamed up with textile designer Velvet Jade to produce a fully customisable range of pencil skirts and crop tops. Velvet Jade is a recent first class graduate from Bath Spa’s Textiles for Fashion & Interiors degree. Her work is vibrant and colourful, and uses a combination of intricate floral, geometric and Aztec designs.

In Topshop, YR Store have set up a whole load of interactive touch screens where you can create your own co-ord from 1 of 27 of Velvet Jades tribal inspired prints and then have it ready to take away within minutes. Using the print you can manipulate the colours, add your own text, layer existing designs or even create your own pattern. The YR Store printing process makes sure that the prints have excellent photo-quality and makes sure the print won’t fade.

The collaboration which launched just last week will only be available in Topshop’s flasghip store. However if you cannot make it to the store then YR Store also have an app, not for this collaboration, but you can customise your own clothing pieces with various prints. Definitely one to check out!
