Le coup de foudre Burberry

Le défilé automne/hiver 2012-2013 de Burberry Prorsum a été mon grand coup de coeur de la Fashion week Londonienne et il fallait que je regroupe tout ce que j’ai aimé dans un billet ! A vrai dire, le défilé m’a tout d’abord séduite par sa bande son : Christopher Bailey va être ravi de savoir qu’il a tant travaillé sur sa collection pour que je dise que j’ai aimé … la musique ! Que voulez-vous, je fonctionne comme ça, à l’ambiance… ( je suis d’ailleurs tombée amoureuse de Numb de Marina & the Diamonds que vous pourrez savourer au milieu de la vidéo ci-dessous) The Burberry Prorsum autumn/winter 2012-2013 fashion show was my biggest crush of the London Fashion Week, and I had to fit everything I liked into a single post! Actually, the show first seduced me with it’s soundtrack : Christopher Bailey is going to love finding out that he worked so hard on his collection just to hear me say that I loved … the music ! What can I say, that’s just how I work, it’s an atmosphere thing … (and I totally fell in love with the song Numb by Marina & the Diamonds that you can enjoy around the middle of the video below). Cela dit, j’ai bien évidemment craqué sur ces coupes tellement chic qui mélangent aussi une allure résolument décontractée, à l’anglaise. C’est d’ailleurs ce vers quoi j’aimerais tendre niveau style : chic mais pas guindé (…et une petite pointe de fun en passant parfois, pour ne pas s’endormir ). This being said, I of course loved the incredibly chic yet also decidedly laid back cuts, english style. This is what I strive for style-wise : chic but not posh (…and a hint of fun every now and then, to make sure it stays interesting). J’ai donc été séduite par les ceintures noeuds, les mélanges de couleurs bleu marine-marron-moutarde-gris, les poches bouffantes, les pulls imprimés hiboux (ça porte bonheur !) et bien sûr par le charme de notre Cara Delevingne (anciennement la blondinette d’ASOS), égérie de la marque. So it’s no surprise that these bow belts, these mixes of navy blue-brown-mustard-grey, these puffed out pockets, these owl imprinted sweaters (it’s lucky !) appealed to me. And there was, of course, the charm of our lovely Cara Delevingne (formerly the young blond girl on Asos) who is the the label’s muse. Mais ce que j’aime regarder dans un défilé , c’est aussi les gens qui y assistent : Clémence Poesy (et sa chemise à pois), Alexa Chung ( aux mocassins tueurs !), Kate Bosworth (qui aurait pu aisément rejoindre les mannequins sur le catwalk , elle était totalement raccord !) et plein plein d’autres qui étaient forcément le plus souvent habillés en Burberry (normal !). But what I also like to observe during a fashion show is the people that are attending it: Clémence Poesy (and her dotted blouse), Alexa Chung (with killer loafers !), Kate Bosworth (who could easily have joined the models on the runway, she totally fit in!) and many many others, that were, of course, for the most part, all dressed in Burberry. Bon, je n’en dis pas plus, on se tait, on ouvre grand les yeux, les oreilles, les chakras et on admire.
