I Spy...

Although we don’t have a huge backyard, we have just enough space to enjoy some of the summer activities including grilling and having a garden filled with herbs and flowers. And by garden, I mean pots.

City life limits ginormous green space but I’ll take it any day because city living makes my heart pitter-patter. Walk a few minutes and you’re at cobblestoned alleyways filled with cute tiny cafes. Take the ferry across the harbor and it drops you off at the heart of the rowes wharf where you can dine by the water, shop to your heart’s content, play with the kids at the park, or stroll the city streets by foot. It sounds like dream living and it really is! I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. Well…maybe for Paris. But this is fairly close to Paris if you ask me!

Back to our ‘garden’. The peonies are no more but now we have hydrangeas galore. They come in pink, red, green, blue, and white. Can you guess which color’s my favorite?

I’ve sprinkled my home with these beautiful blooms. Below are the different spaces where they are living. So blessed by their grace…

Here’s my current coffee table situation made gorgeous by these white beauties. On another note, the peonies in the clear square vase are actually silk. To see how I created this silk floral arrangement, please click HERE.

Below is our walker’s range stove in the kitchen.

My tea space below…

Here, the hydrangeas live in a teapot. To see how the tea space came about with before and after pics, please click HERE.

And last but not least, see them on our dining room mantel.

Hope you’ve enjoyed the hydrangeas and how they are giving life to the spaces in my home. Have a great day!
