2014: Ignite & Absorb
Last night we were making a special supper together and without thinking, I grabbed the metal pan handle that had just come out of the oven. I'm fine today, but I am really doubting the human strength in Home Alone. There's no way Harry Lime could have continued to hunt for Kevin after touching that red hot door handle. While searching for polysporin, I found my first camera and it still had 18 shots in it! Feels like I found a time capsule, can't wait to see the old and new pictures :)
I get excited on January 1st-- there's the chance to do something everyday for a whole year, ending with a collection you want to look back on. But nothing major came to me this year, so I'm focusing on a old friend and a new one:
• This is the year I decide to keep or close my personal blog. I feel stale but I crave the good ole days, so I'm hitting a personal reboot for 2014. This is the year of Leigh-Ann, Candid and Creative. That's my Summer of George type statement. Frolf!
• My mom made me a gratitude journal for Christmas with room to record one line per day. Today's line says: "Good sleep. Dreamt about a kitten named Gumball".
• On January 27th, my present and future is majorly changing... I'll tell you more soon!!
