Now we are back from our Thailand trip it seems like we created so many memories that it’s hard to even know where to start when thinking about it all.
We did so many things, at so many levels, from luxe-ing it up in our own infinity pool to learning how to cook pad Thai in a village home to racing across a bay in a private speedboat to hiring a pick up truck to go island exploring.
Now that the mercury has dropped and both London and New York are in the grip of winter, tonight I am warming up by imagining myself in Baba’s Nest, a 360 degree view rooftop terrace bar, surrounded by a narrow infinity pool, at the Sri Panwa estate on Phuket.
Sadly it rained the night we had reservations, at the exact moment that we arrived for our sundowner drinks.
As the sky cleared we all piled back outside to take the obligatory selfies and horizon shots.
If you are staying at Sri Panwa, do make a reservation in advance for sunset cocktails at Baba’s Nest, as it has a restricted capacity.
We were guests in Pool Villa Four, Nemo, at Sri Panwa for two nights, bed & breakfast, and including round trip transfers and dinner on one night at their Thai restaurant Baba Soul. We paid for extras and all other meals and drinks.
