Friday Favorites #75: Housewife Glamour Edition
Good morning!!
You guys. Today is a very special, sad, and exciting Friday all at once.
I have been talking about a new site and new blog domain for months now, and the day has finally come. As (most of) you know, I will be switching over to a new platform to blog, but I am only doing so to improve the type of content you have already grown to enjoy and follow.
I love Housewife Glamour – and it’s been a great three years – but my focus on healthy living content has become clear, and I need a better fitting name to back it.
Thanks to your reader survey responses, I gathered that more than half of you were on the same page with this decision. For that reason (majority rules!), I finally took the plunge and went for it. Come Monday, everyone who types in housewifeglamour.com will automatically be redirected to the new site!
What you need to do to follow:
From what I understand… nothing. It will be a lot easier for you to follow by bookmarking the new domain, but that’s really about it!
All of the Housewife Glamour social media channels will be transferred to the new blog name’s handles, so you won’t need to re-follow anything there *fingers crossed*. I think (hence think, not know) the same will apply for Bloglovin’, but don’t quote me on that. Those of you who subscribe by email might need to re-subcribe, but I’m not quite sure about that either!
The good news is that you will definitely be able to find me Monday at 7 a.m. E.S.T. by simply typing in housewifeglamour.com.
Sadly, Housewife Glamour will officially be coming to an end later tonight. It will be in maintenance mode over the weekend and the new site will go live first thing Monday morning!
Saying goodbye to Housewife Glamour is very bittersweet. It’s more than time to move forward, but this little space on the Internet has been really good to me. You guys have been incredibly awesome too!
As we close one chapter and open another, I wanted to dedicate this edition of Friday Favorites to my personal favorites from Housewife Glamour. Don’t worry, there will still be a link up at the bottom for your favorites too.
