Celebrate the Season InStyle

I’ve been busy, busy, busy lately with work and wedding stuff, so this post is a bit overdue. Back in October (when it was actually still semi-warm outside) I was invited to attend an event put on by Single Edition Media, called Celebrate the Season InStyle. The event brought together a variety of fashion, beauty & lifestyle brands and offered holiday exclusive products, promotions and more.

Jergens was promoting their BB body cream, which I reviewed here previously. Celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff made an appearance and talked about how she used the product on various clients including Allison Williams. And who wouldn’t want to look a little more like Allison Williams, am I right?

Sears showed off their new Metaphor collection, which was actually really cute. Who knew Sears had cute stuff? I loved the lace dresses and embellished sweatshirts.

Tagspire, a new alternative for bloggers to make money from their posts, gave us an exclusive product demo, which I already wrote about here as well.

Gardein provided snacks for us- their meat-free options were pretty tasty. The fish n chips they served tasted like real fish, which was surprising to me. I definitely will be trying out more of their products next time I see them in a grocery store.

Silk’n gave us some product demonstrations for their various products, including a facial dermabrasion tool and a hair remover. I actually was lucky enough to win one of their Flash n Gos and have been using it for the past few weeks. It takes a couple of months to see results, so I’ll share those when the time comes.

Elizabeth Arden offered samples of their new perfumes and offered lipstick makeovers. I love how they created custom plates for each fragrance by including the flowers and food scents the perfumes were inspired by.

Sugarwish provided us with some sweet snacks (I loved the sour watermelons) and Vigoss was kind enough to gift me a pair of their new line of jeans, which fit like a dream.

Kelly Cook of DSW showed up looking fabulous and gave an incredibly passionate speech which highlighted their customer marketing efforts. DSW is a company that kills it with their marketing and customer events- it must be so much fun to work for them!

I also got to meet a fellow blogger Kallie, from But First, Coffee. She is just as pretty and sweet in person as she is online.
