TWO YEAR BLOGIVERSARY (and a little giveaway)!!
TWO FRIGGIN' YEARS!!! WOWZERS.
I can NOT believe I've been blogging for two years, now. Last year on my one year blogiversary it was surreal. I couldn't believe that I had been doing this blog thang for a whole entire YEAR. Now it's even MORE surreal. Two years is a long time for things to continue for me. I am not one for "sticking with things" a long time. Call it ADD, or whatever..but I have a pretty short attention span.
For me to stay with something (that is a "fun hobby" in my life) for two years is a big deal! This year has been a crazy one. With major ups & major downs. I have definitely not been as "active" in blogging lately as I used to be. Mostly because I'm almost ready to pop this baby out! The little extra energy that I do have is usually spent on getting last minute things done, or trying to squeeze in every last second (before the chaos) with my little boy & hubby.
BUT. And that's a BIG BUTT (Kardashian style)...I am ever so grateful for this blog of mine. Even if nobody reads it anymore, I am still so in love with blogging. Two years ago when I started this "blog" I had no idea what the heck I was doing.
Now that I know pretty much all of the ins & outs of blogging (ha ya right), I feel like I'm comfortable with where it's at. It's become MINE again..instead of becoming this big crazy machine that got out of control. Where I felt like I was just blogging because I HAD to. It's back to me jumping on here & blogging when I FEEL like it...which is the whole point of a blog right?
Some H I G H L I G H T S for me this last year (so far):
{THE BIG BEAUTY BONANZA POLL} - it was so fun to see everyone's faves!
{THAT TIME WE WENT TO CABO} - such good memories for me there!
{THAT TIME I PUT MY SHOP ON HOLD} - this was a HUGE decision for me. I hope to have it back up & running again next year!!
{THAT TIME I WROTE ABOUT SOME AWESOME TODDLER ACTIVITIES} - because keeping a toddler occupied is a full time job.
{THAT TIME WE FOUND OUT WE WERE PREGNANT AGAIN} - such a beautiful moment in our lives. I can't WAIT to meet this little girl!!
I know there's lots more...but I will save those for the end of the year recap! :)
I hope that y'all love this space of mine. I hope you can connect with some part of my life and feel like we are kindred spirits in some small way. Whether you like Dr. Pepper, or are a lover of makeup, or have struggles with kids, or just think I'm soooo funny (hehe). Whatever it is that brings you back here, I SO SO SO appreciate you taking the time to read my lil' blog. YOU GUYS make this a community that I just love so incredibly much.
