Spring Bucket List (plus a Linkup)

Happy First Day of Spring! I know I've already been talking about Spring a lot on the blog, guess I've had Spring Fever going for quite awhile, but I wanted to specifically celebrate it's official arrival today. I find it funny - I never used to love Spring that much. I am still very much a big fan of Fall - that's still my season - but I have such an appreciation for spring as I've been older. There is something about the freshness, the feeling of a new start. Anyway, in the spirit of that, I thought I'd share a "Spring Bucket List" - things I hope to do this spring with my little family.

~Visit both of our zoos. We have a great free zoo not far from home and we've been there with Ollie a number of times, but we haven't been there all winter and I've been missing it. I think we'll be going there this weekend. I'd also like to take him to much bigger MN Zoo very soon - and I think it will be fun to go this spring, they always do a Farm Baby exhibit.

~Do an Easter basket for Ollie. He's still a bit young for an Easter egg hunt, so I don't think we'll do that this year, but I love putting together a little Easter basket for him. I only have a couple of weeks left, so I guess I'd better get cracking!

~Get a pedicure. It will get warm enough for sandals sooner rather than later and I'd like to have my feet be pretty and ready for them!

~Go through all my Spring/Summer skirts and dresses. I have had most of this stuff packed away all winter and it's time to get it all out and see what does and doesn't fit. I've been working on my closet most of the winter in fact, but I haven't looked at that kind of stuff yet.

~Clean up the yard. I want to be able to let Ollie play outside but we'll need to clean up our backyard a little bit to let that happen

~Get some outdoor toys for Ollie. As of right now he has a very big backyard and nothing to play with. We'll be working on changing that!

~Get my darn Christmas tree put away. Yeah I'm embarrassed to even be writing that. It's undecorated, but it sits in the basement and it doesn't even look that out of place, but I really want it down and gone by Easter. There is just no excuse on this!

~Brew a batch of beer with Nate. We tend to not brew over the winter because it's just too hard, but now that the weather is getting warmer and our bar is getting emptier, we need to get back into the groove on this!

~Get back to Disc Golf when the course is dry enough. I think we'll be able to do that soon.

~Have a bonfire in my backyard.

There are so many other things that I want to do, but many of them can carry over into summer too, so I'll leave the list at that! Some fun things, some things to work on, but all of it seems do-able!

What is on your Spring list? Or what is your favorite part of Spring?

I'm also excited to be hosting a link up with some other bloggers! Feel free to linkup any spring related post with us!
