5 FAVORITE CONCEALERS
One of the beauty products that I cannot live without is concealer. I’m always on the hunt for the perfect one and I’ve got a few staples. Depending on the coverage I need and the weather, I switch up my products but I had to share the ones I think you should add to your makeup bag.
TARTE MARACUJA CREASELESS CONCEALER
This is one of my staples and I love the consistency. I’ve been using Tarte’s Maracuja Creaseless Concealer for a few years now in the shade medium neutral. Pros about this product is that there are SO MANY SHADES to choose from. If you need a concealer that has a lot of coverage, this is it. The consistency is really thick, so be sure to warm it up between your fingers before applying it, don’t use too much, and be sure to blend it with a sponge.
MAYBELLINE FIT ME CONCEALER
If you are looking for a great drugstore concealer, this is your best bet. You may have seen it in my concealer hack video and heard a lot about Maybelline Fit Me from other youtubers and its because it actually is fantastic. This isn’t very heavy, I would describe the consistency as sheer and lightweight. I love the applicator, it is similar to NARS creamy concealer but not as heavy. I would wear this for an everyday makeup or in warmer weather and is also great to use as a highlighter.
NARS CREAMY CONCEALER
I have no idea why it took me so long to get NARS Creamy Concealer but I’m happy that I did. I first got a shade too dark and it made my under eyes actually look worse. But I found that custard was the right color for me and now I love it. You don’t need too much of this product and the formula gives a lot of coverage with a similar applicator to a lipgloss. I wear this almost every day and use it to highlight as well. I learned about this product from celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta, who creates the most beautiful looks – and if he likes it then I do too.
BOBBI BROWN CREAMY CONCEALER
Bobbi Brown’s Creamy Concealer was an old favorite of mine because I really do love this concealer. It also comes in a kit with a setting powder. I primarily only use this concealer now to clean up my brows by dipping a flat concealer brush in here – it is perfect for that!
MAKEUP FOREVER ULTRA HD CONCEALER
If you are a glam girl who wants a heavy concealer for that bright under eye with a perfect highlight and contour, the Makeup Forever Ultra HD concealer is the right choice for you. This consistency is very liqudy so if you are baking with powder on top, it won’t look creasy or heavy under your eyes. I love how easy this product is to work with the rest of your makeup and how long lasting it is – again with lots of color choices.
