Timing your car purchase could possibly save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars. TrueCar has analyzed car prices over serveral years to reveal the day of the week, month, and time of the month to buy a car—including timing for specific car types.
The data comes from monthly industry sales data between the years 2009 and 2014. A Sunday at the beginning of August seems to be the sweet spot overall. If you're in the market for a certain type of car, however, check the graphic for other recommendations.
