Thrifting 101: Getting Creative

Sometimes when you thrift you have to think outside the box. Instead of limiting yourself to one section, explore the entire store. A gem could be awaiting you in the men's section, or the children's section, or......the pajama rack?
That's right..the pajama rack! Yes, among those horrid Christmas themed sleep sets and lacy granny panties there is hope for a fashionable find. I've actually found quite of few lovely silk shorts (aka boxers) tucked in with the pajamas, and last time I went thrifting I spotted this treasure:

TROPICAL PRINT SILK PJ's! I died. I died and went to Heaven.........then came back with a quickness and snatched them up! No I wasn't in great need of pajamas, I was ecstatic about the possibilities. The print was gorgeous, the material was excellent, and I just knew I could do something with it.

Annnnnd boom! With a simple tuck in (the blouse into the pants and the pant bottoms into the ankle strap of my heels), and some accessories I was able to easily dress up these uber cute pajamas. Who says you can't roll straight out of bed and look fabulous?
Welp, that's all folks! I'm headed back to bed!

My actual yawn-face...scary right??
