DIY / GREY SHAKE RECIPE













need:
/ one cup of almond milk
/ one ripe banana
/ ginger
/ a couple of frozen blueberries

On my plate is where I appreciate color the most. However when I saw Elinor’s grey smoothie last week, I got incredibly inspired to make a monochromatic drink of my own. It took a few tryouts and mixing lots of ingredients to finally get the solid, light grey color – which ended up being quite uncomplicated. It is very surreal to slurp down the grey consistency which besides being so aesthetically pleasing is also -not unimportant- pretty tasty, healthy and vegan too .

1/ Mix the almond milk, banana and ginger in a blender until you get a creamy, very pale yellow liquid.

2/ Add in the frozen blueberries one by one, just enough to even out the yellow tone but not as much as to turn your shake grey.
