It's A Healthier Life



I've been meaning to talk to you about the 17 lbs I've lost in the past 3 months! I know...how I do forget to write about that? The last you heard, I joined Crossfit and that was the end - unless you follow me on instagram. Well, I've been spending so much time living a healthier lifestyle that I haven't had much time to actually sit down and write about it. In this process I've quickly learned that loosing weight is not about how much you workout, but about what you eat. Most importantly, making the decision to get fit not necessarily "skinny" has made this process so much easier for me. The pregnancy weight from Grey is now gone but I'm most excited about the things that I do physically that I couldn't before. Even my husband has been noticing and has decided that he needs to start lifting before I get stronger than him, lol. This is just the beginning though, as I now have a crazy dream of one day entering a fitness competition - I have a lot more work to do!
I've been eating clean for the past few months, but I'm getting bored to be honest. I need some new recipes. I've been doing some research and collecting recipes on Pinterest. I'm allowed to have 2 cheat meals per week, but on the day to day my food is pretty boring to the point where I'd rather do something besides eat.
I'm going to make it a point to share my "getting fit" experience here, and if there's anything you'd like to know in particular please let me know.
