LA! some photos and video!

we had such a great time a few weeks ago in california! before we spent time at monarch beach, we spent the week in LA seeing some good friends and making some new memories together. my birthday happened during that week so it was an extra exciting time for me.

we kept the video camera rolling here and there during the week so below are some fun little clips from our trip! hope you’re not terribly sick of my homemade videos just yet cause i’m learning so much putting them together and having the best time doing so. the song is sweet action by interest relief and we filmed everything on our canon 6d and edited it with final cut pro.

also. BEST BURGER that we have been talking about nonstop since we got back, plan check. (thank you laura and megan for the recommendation!) they make this ketchup leather, like old school fruit leather, and for a gal who doesn’t even like ketchup, this stuff was unbelievable. we tried to go again on our way to the airport heading back to new york but they didn’t open til noon so all we could do was drive by and look over longingly. anyway, if you’re in LA, go!

we got to see so many good friends that we don’t get to see too often since LA is so far. here’s a quick snap of conrad meeting baby sloan for the first time! they are just a few months apart so it’ll be fun to watch them grow over the years.
