strawberry picking!

high on our list of things we wanted to do together this summer was pick some strawberries! there is something about good fruit straight off the vine! we rented a car and made our way up to fishkill farms (which is just beautiful, by the way) last week and had a great time picking our own fruit, running around, seeing their chickens and enjoying the change of scenery from our typical day in the bustling city.

we made a little video while we were there. i brought our camera along assuming i’d snap some photos but then eleanor was blowing dandelion petals everywhere when we stepped out of the car and it was so cute, i started filming it. from there we just decided to keep filming. it’s fun putting little videos together every now and then.

we filmed this with our canon 6D and edited it with final cut pro. the music is a waiting game by alexander wildwood. my hat is from madewell, as are my pants. shirt is c/o ace & jig and shoes from kate spade.

ps. strawberry picking a few years ago when eleanor was a baby, and samson was just a few days away from being born! ;) also, pretty film photos from that day, too.
