LA FASHION MARKET

LA FASHION MARKET. Last weekend was market week- designers and brands showed their upcoming new styles and collections to buyers and were showing their Fall/Winter and transitional Holiday styles. The LA Fashion Market at the California Market Center takes place five times a year and includes permanent showrooms and trade shows. The CMC hosts three trade shows SHAPE (lounge and athletic wear), SELECT (curated mix of premium women’s apparel) and TRANSIT (show show). Market week is a great way for designers and brands to get discovered and meet new buyers.

I recently received this cute basic that reads “Champagne for Breakfast” and decided to pair it with this bright pleated chiffon skirt for a pop of color. Longer skirts are so versatile, you can tuck in your top and adjust the placement of the skirt. Sometimes, I even wear longer skirts as a tube top dress!
