Hedgehog & Behind the Blog

Hello there! We're still here! I've been working pretty heavily on a new project this month, which has been taking up a good chunk of time. It feels like the kind of month to buckle down in and to set ourselves up for a great new year. So far so good! The other day I got what is probably the most exciting news I've had in quite some time. If events come to pass, you won't believe it either! I'm crossing my fingers that soon enough I'll be able to share that excitement here on the blog.

In the meantime, my pet project led us to my friend Kyla Roma's house, and resulted in a visit with her pet, Ramona Hedgehog. Eve was thrilled when I told her we'd be stopping in for a coffee. Kyla let her play with her hedgehog lego set (yes, there is such a thing), pet Ramona, and stomp around in her heels (Kylas, not Ramonas). Whew. Very fun for a 3 year old. I thought this encounter should be documented. After all, it's not every day you get to pet a hedgie!
