Drops moss stitch sjaal
Hihi, ja ik ben verslaafd aan de moss stitch :-D Naast de sjaal waarmee ik de moss stitch tutorial heb gemaakt (waar ik nog steeds regelmatig een stukje aan haak) en de moss stitch cowl die ik gehaakt heb heb ik nu ook een moss stitch sjaal gehaakt van drops!
Drops moss stitch scarf
Hihi, yes I'm addicted to the moss stitch :-D After the scarf that I used to make the moss stitch turtorial (the one that isn't finished, but I regularly pick up to crochet a few rows) and the moss stitch cowl I crocheted I now also crocheted a moss stitch scarf from drops!
Mn eerste moss stitch sjaal (die ene die nog niet klaar is) haak ik in de breedte. Deze van drops heb ik in de lengte gehaakt zodat hij toch weer een ander effect geeft.
I crochet the first moss stitch scarf (the one that isn't finished) in width. This one from drops is crocheted in length so it gives a different effect.
Waarom noem ik dit mijn drops moss stitch sjaal? Omdat ik hem heb gehaakt met Drops Paris. Dit is een 100% katoen voor naald 4-5 mm. Ik heb hem gehaakt met een 6 mm haaknaald en heb m 1,62 m lang gemaakt (exclusief franjes).
Why do I call this scarf a drops moss stitch scarf? Because I crocheted with Drops Paris. This is a 100% cotton yarn for a 4-5 mm crochethook. I used a 6 mm crochethook and made it 1,62 m long (exclusive fringe).
Ik heb 13 verschillende kleuren gebruikt, van allemaal 1 bol behalve de kleuren die aan de begin en eindrand zitten (geel en rood), daarvan had ik een tweede bol nodig.
I used 13 different colors. One bol of yarn each except for the begin and and row colors (yellow and red), I needed a second bol of yarn of them.
Ik heb de draadjes niet afgehecht en was eigenlijk wat anders van plan dan het maken van franjes voor de afwerking. Ik wilde namelijk in alle draadjes op gelijke hoogte een knoopje maken en dan de uiteindes recht afknippen, alleen de knoopjes op gelijke hoogte krijgen was een drama. Ik kreeg de knoopjes er niet meer netjes uit en moest ze afknippen, dat zijn de korte draadjes in de franjes. De franjes allemaal zo kort was geen optie, dus dan maar speels twee lengtes in de franjes ;-)
I didn't wove in the ends and wanted to make something different then the fringe. I wanted to make a knot in every threath on the same height, but it did not work. I couldn't get the knots out so I had to cut them, that are the smaller threaths in the fringe. To make all the fringe so small was not an option, so then they turned out like the picture :-) It's different ;-)
Ik maak ook wel eens een foutje tijdens het haken. Ik kom er ook wel eens pas 4 toeren verder achter. Het foutje zit er nog steeds in en het stoort me niet eens! Wat is het soms toch fijn om mn perfectionisme los te laten! En weet je? Juist van die kleine foutjes maken handwerk zo uniek! ;-)
I also make mistakes while crocheting. I also find out 4 rows further. The mistake is still in the scarf and I really don't mind! I love to let the perfectionism go sometimes! And you know what? The little mistakes make handcrafts so unique! ;-)
