Desert Elopement Inspiration in the rain
For this ‘Desert dreams’ inspirational shoot, photographer KRISTEN JOY and her team of talented creatives wanted to combine the unexpected and show couples how dreamy and gorgeous a desert elopement can be. Amanda from OPAL FLORAL designed the shoot with the muted tones of the desert coupled with blues and subtle purples to elegantly stand out. Using thistle and cabbage leaves in the bouquet she showed how the unexpected can be made into an elegant and inspirational design. The strikingly blue agate stones and handcrafted wood table beam in the muted desert backdrop. The brides handmade veil and perfectly formed dress show the traditional elegance of a bride in a dreamy desert backdrop.
Kristen tells us, “It was so beautiful to shoot a desert landscape in rain and the couple embraced the moment, which made for some amazing desert rain photos. Who hasn’t pictured themselves kissing in the rain and how dreamy that can be.“
