Harmonious nature inspired shoot

Captured entirely on film, this lovely bohemian inspired nature shoot by Danish photographer CAMILLA JØRVAD had been a long time in the planning. The idea came to mind when she met Mira – the model in the shoot – walking her beautiful Alaskan Malemute and German Shepherd mix.

“I knew that Mira’s dog would look amazing on photos and with Mira’s beautiful light Nordic look, the two of them were a match made in film photography heaven. My biggest inspiration as a photographer is the nature that surrounds me on the small Danish island I live on. The cool nordic light, the sea and the birch tree clearings. The handmade bohemian style headpieces from Finnish designer Aino were a perfect match for this shoot and I was so happy she wanted to participate. I made the bouquet myself on the day of the shoot, using roses, elderberries, and wild flowers from my own garden. In the end I achieved what I wanted: a simple collection of photographs showing off the beauty and serenity of a life in harmony with the beautiful nature that surrounds us.”
