LOTD: Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Palette

Hi hi

another Urban Decay palette - this came out quite sometime ago, but I think it is still available, and this is one darn awesome neutral palette. At first I didn't really pay much attention to it. Until I saw a few reviews online, and then my interest got piqued, and I finally took it out to swatch it, and whoa, this is even more intensely pigmented than the Urban Decay naked basics 2 which I just featured in the previous entry. Every single shade in this palette is awesome. It comes with quite a sturdy little brush, and a mirror.
I also purchased the Mrs Mia Wallace (well, I am not going into the whole pulp fiction culture here....let's just appreciate the colours and quality here on their own okay?) this is one deep beautiful rich red. Like all UD revolution lipsticks, this is no exception. Application is a little tricky as I don't like how 'flat' the shape of the lippy is, and I did have to use a lip brush to tidy up the edges but the end result is impressive.

Overall, this is a neat collection, there is a matching Mrs Mia Wallace lip pencil. which I am still contemplating, but I don't normally use lip liners... so I guess this will do for now.
The collection is limited eidtion, and Ihope you are still able to find it! Well, I still see it at Sephora.. so the chances are quite high.

Some product close ups:

Swatches:

This the kind of matte neutral palette that I love to create a very flattering BIG eyes look - the colors blend amazingly, and for this quality and price point, you get reallly good value for your money (I think this palette retails for under S$50). I added a flick wing liner just on the outer corner just for fun but I did not actually line my whole eyes, and of course throw up the mega layered lashes. All products used will be listed below:
I did two looks = this first one with just natural lips (what I used is listed at the end of this entry).
Very flattering and not too colorful.
and the whole 'pulp fiction' look - the lipstick is really gorgeous and classy in my opinion.

Products used:

Face - UD Naked Skin 1.0, set with UD Naked Skin HD loose powder in Naked Light, Shiseido Sheer Eye Zone undereye corrector
Eyes - UD Pulp Fiction, color placement as mentioned above
Liquid Liner - NARS eyeliner stylo Carpates (black) just to draw the 'wing' or flick
Nude lipstick - Makeup Store lip pencil in Nude Beauty, Dior Addict Gloss 553 Princess
Bold lipstick - UD Mrs Mia Wallace
Cheeks - UD Flushed (the original one)
Brows - Guerlain Universal brow kit, Anastasia Beverly Hills clear brow gel

I hope you have the chance to check out this collection, because I have been enjoying it!

Thanks for reading!
