Holiday Inspiration From Tory Burch
When it comes to tablescapes and floral arrangments, I adore everything that Tory Burch does. She is an expert entertainer in my books! I love her approach to color and all-American prep, so I thought it appropriate, on our American friends Thanksgiving Day, to share a few of my Holiday favorites from Tory.
She mentions that "(r)eal flowers make any room or table that much more beautiful." And in color palettes you'd never think to use, but they look so incredible!
Tory explains, "(f)or Thanksgiving, we use our vintage Imari china which has red and blue in it, so I like to pick up on those colors with dahlias, garden roses, hydrangeas and Ilex berry branches from the farmers market. For table centerpieces, I keep it low and flat so people can see each other and conversation flows. And tall holly branches like Ilex make a dramatic statement in hallways or entryways (and make sure to keep small childern and pets away from the berries) - via Tory Daily.
Hope you enjoy your day of family & feasting! And to my fellow Canadians (and Australians, and probably many others ...) we will be feasting on Christmas turkey in no time! The countdown is officially on ;)
