Disappointing Products
After I’ve showed you some favorite products today I show you the opposite: disappointing products.
Of course that’s, as with the favorites posts, a purely subjective thing. Maybe the products just don’t fit to me and my needs and others swear by it. Tastes (and skin types!) are just different.
Anyway, my recommendation today: do not buy!
The Products
Chanel – Le Vernis
This product was such a disappointment! For something over 20 EUR you get a nail polish that is watery and doesn’t last. Such a bad quality, especially for that price…!
The only good thing: the great brush, the beautiful colors and well, it’s Chanel.
However, I can’t advise you this product and would rather recommend you to buy Essie or Ciate. They have a better quality and they are also cheaper …
Bobbi Brown Corrector Concealer
First I was very excited about this combination, finally, something covers my dark circles and I was like WOW! But after a few hours the result was horrible: it settles in my pores and creates ugly edges, which makes me look worse with makeup than without. Maybe it’s a false application and I need a primer or whatever or maybe it simply doesn’t work for my skin. Too bad, because usually Bobbi Brown can do better!
EOS Lip Balm
After I’ve heard so many good things about this lip balm I had to buy it. But the product was a big disappointment, as there were no healing effect, but it makes my lips ever drier. It settles and doesn’t work under my lipsticks. I can’t understand the hype!
L’Oreal Mega Volume Mascara Miss Manga
After I’ve read so much positive feedback about the mascara I became quite curious and bought it.
But instead giving me length and volume, it’s watery clumped my lashes and smells kinda disgusting.
Caudalie – Devine Legs
Usually I’m a big fan of Caudalie, but not this time. This tinted body lotion is supposed to give a great shine and shimmer legs and it’s even a real bestseller! But instead of shimmer the lotion ran me the leg down and I can assure you that it’s not cool when a brown fluid runs down your leg. In that situation it doesn’t matter how good it smells or cares! For me it’s an absolute no-go!
So those were my disappointing products.
