Microsoft Assumes Control Of Nokia’s Devices, April 25th

HR

The $7.2 billion deal that involves Nokia selling “substantially all of its Devices and Services business to Microsoft” — effectively seeing Microsoft assuming control — is finally going to be signed, sealed (well that’s been done!) and delivered on April 25th.

The usual “…customary closing conditions” are being met as the acquisition is poised on finalization.

Microsoft, with this monumental monetary deal, is aiming to be a hot and heavy contender to its competition as it embarks upon manufacturing its own flagship smartphones (as one aspect of its future endeavors).

Microsoft have a new CEO, Satya Nedella and you can bet he is keen on pushing the Windows Phone shebang forward to stellar heights.
