Romans @ Le Capitole

She said they all loved it and people even from London were liking it on facebook! London must be an indicator, since this is The place to go for a cosmopolitan lifestyle. What I mean is the photo above, taken by Nadine at Le Capitole (here), in the building where Buddha Bar used to be. Don’t ask me why she’s having drinks in bars downtown Beirut while people like us are working! At least she took me with her recently, and of course I totally fell in love! You can’t even see the ruins here. They found them under the parking lot on the other side of the road, while they were excavating to build another skyscraper… I wish the people from that (Roman?) time had the chance to see the Capitole on my side of the road… What a pity for them!
