Onion Skin Dyed Easter Eggs

Feeling in the mood for all things Spring and Easter? We are! So we tried our hand at onion skin dying for our eggs. The kids loved seeing how the foliage collected from the yard (even dandelion leaves) transformed on the eggs after dipping them into the hot onion skin water. So pretty and so transformative!

I also tried watercolor painting a few eggs – another first. Was so fun. Definitely thinking we’ll have to make a tradition out of this.
