Leelee Sobieski

Leelee Sobieski Born Liliane Rudabet Glorida Elsveta Sobieski, Leelee is an American film and television actress. Sobieski reached early success in her mid-eens for her work in the 80’s film Deep Impact. She was also nominated for an Emmy and for two Golden Globes in 1999 for the TV movie Joan of Arc. Born in NYC, Sobieski’s mother is a film producer and her father is a French painter is a former actor. She went on to study literature and fine art at Brown University. Sobieski’s career began when she caught the eye of a talent scout in the cafeteria of her NYC private school. Soon after, she became the candidate for the role of Claudia in Interview with the Vampire. From then on, her career blossomed and her success grew.
