In 2009 the Middleaged Runner had never run a day in her life. With her 30th birthday looming on the horizon the challenge of a 4 mile race seemed like an impossible challenge, one best suited for a younger, faster, more agile individual. However, the challenge was accepted and, almost 40 minutes after toeing the line of her first race a runner was BORN! (or... something like that....)
