What I got for Christmas 2014...

As usual, these posts start off with a disclaimer, saying how I'm not intending to brag or show off, but as I tweeted on Christmas day, when I see people sharing photos of the gifts they received for Christmas I instantly think oh wow, I bet they're feeling very happy and lucky right now. I never think oh they're obviously just uploading that to show off or brag. My parents aren't together so the day is always split between my mums house and my dads house, so I always get far too many (for a 24 year old) lovely gifts from both sides of my family and I know I'm very lucky to do so. I'm not going to post everything, as some are too personal and some make up / beauty bits I will be reviewing in the future in upcoming blog posts etc so I've picked a few of my favourites to share with you.
My dad bought me lots of lovely gifts, my 'main' present off him isn't set up yet but one of the things he bought me was a lovely Marc Jacobs 'Daisy' gift set I've never actually had this perfume before, somehow he always picks perfumes (and make up) I would choose myself, despite me asking or telling him?! This smells absolutely gorgeous and I was over the moon when I opened it.
I cried when I opened this iPhone 6 from my mum, mainly because I knew how much overtime my mum had worked this year to give us such a great Christmas with lots of lovely gifts and amazing food and drink. I also felt guilty that I only spend a few hours with my mum on Christmas day before going to my dads, when she'd put so much effort into the morning. So I've ordered her a huge bunch of flowers to send to her work as a surprise to say thank you for all the effort she put in.

How cute is this little wash bag, I spotted the dachshund in a top hat right away. This is definitely going to be my new make up bag. Such a sucker for cute animals, especially dressed up ones.
I received a lot of really good baking and non-baking books this year, so I can't wait to get stuck into reading those and hopefully make some tasty creations (which I'll obviously be blogging about)
I absolutely love Jimmy Choo fragrances the original is a favourite of mine and I wear it all the time, I'd never tried Jimmy Choo 'Flash' before, but I'm so glad I got a bottle for Christmas as it smells absolutely amazing. I love it when you find new scents, that you really love.

I love how the Ted Baker packaging is always so stunning and pretty, I can never manage to throw it away! This was a lovely box full of gorgeous bath treats and skincare goodies
How amazing is this?! My own personalised jar of Nutella which I'm going to sit and eat with a spoon straight from the jar . I didn't even know these existed, I absolutely love it!

I then opened this Nutella Recipes book, in the shape of a jar, so cool. I seriously can't wait to make some of these. They look and sound like they will taste absolutely amazing.

I always love getting bath and body gift sets for Christmas, they're always so handy and I love relaxing baths. One of my favourite gifts was a Jack Wills overnight bag off of my mum. Perfect for when I'm staying over at Tom's house. It's a gorgeous bag full off lovely bath, shower and skincare things.

This was my favourite gift ever, ever, ever. I went to Tom's house on Boxing day for a lovely meal with his family. When I went into his room he had a huge pile of presents arranged and wrapped in such cute wrapping paper. One of them was this huge teddy bear, with a scrapbook full of stories and moments from the minute we met. I laughed and cried because it was so funny and personal, full of pictures and stuff to do with 'us' it was clear he'd spent so much time and effort because there's so many pages to read through. Gifts like this are always the best, in my opinion, so thoughtful :)
I received so many chocolates, a tub quality street, ferrero rochers and way too many Terry's Chocolate Oranges < mmmm. But these stood out as my favourite, I loveeee The Snowman and The Snow dog, I always watch that and The Snowman on Christmas Eve, every year without fail. Don't they just look adorable? Too cute to eat, I think!

For some reason I always feel bad / unsure about posting this, even though so many of you said you wanted to see this post. I guess there is a fear people will think I'm spoilt / showing off. But I know how lucky / happy / grateful I am to my lovely family and boyfriend and I always love having a good nose at these kind of posts myself!
