sometimes you browse through someone’s work just because it makes you feel really GOOD. that’s what i felt when i discovered the artwork of Chicago based illustrator Laura Berger, and i spent the next while looking at every print available at her online shop (i particularly love this one and this one.. oh and this one.) I’m interested in exploring our connections to ourselves & each other, the idea of finding novelty & adventure in everyday life, our rituals, symbols, nature, dreams, travel, our quest for self-development, and how we piece it all together to create personal meaning & a sense of belonging to the greater whole. she also makes the cutest cards ever. this one made me laugh and this one brought a little tear to my eye. you can buy everything by Laura Berger here.
