Happy Monday!

Today was a bit of a crazy day for me, by 10:30AM I was finishing my third venti latte from Starbucks. Sometimes Monday starts at 5AM and you just have to hit the ground running.

First, some exciting news to share, my blog was featured on Seattle Met Magazine’s website last week! It was fun to chat with them and see my name up on their site. Big thank you to them for thinking to include me there.

I haven’t had time to shoot new outfit photos, but good news! I will be shooting with Jefte Sanchez, the awesome photographer I’ve been working with very soon and will have lots of new outfits to share. In the meantime I thought I would post a few more photos from my Instagram and talk about what I’ve been up to these last couple weeks.

A snap from when I was in Chicago for a quick minute last week, I had a connection there when I was flying home from Iowa. These Nike sneakers are so awesome, they are the Nike Air Max 90 Hyp Premium iD sneakers, the color doesn’t show as well in this photo but they are literally Highlighter pink. They’re so bright and I love them so much.

Remember my summer beauty blog post with Dolce & Gabbana? Well this is a photo of my sister, Katia getting her makeup done with D&G’s National Makeup Artist, Christian McCulloch. He’s the one who I interviewed in my blog post.

A cool color from Dolce & Gabbana’s Summer Shine Collection.

A selfie I took while using Dolce & Gabbana’s Aurealux Mask. It’s quick and easy to apply and is super hydrating, after using it my skin felt so soft and bright, it was as if I came home from a facial.

I bought this pretty Free People Emma’s dress a bit back and haven’t been able to stop wearing it since! It’s light and airy, feminine and comfortable, basically perfect for summer. I’ve worn it to work with a pair of my AG Jeans underneath and some wedges, and with shorts, it’s proved to be a flexible piece that I can enjoy in many ways. A couple of other Free People dresses I have my eye on that are similar to this one are here and here.

Friday was special because my boyfriend and I went on a date to the new restaurant inside the Four Seasons Seattle, Goldfinch Tavern. Wow it’s incredible in there. The view is really hard to beat, you look right out to the water, the decor inside is inviting, mid century modern and almost a little Mad Men-esque. I posted a lot of food photos to my Twitter if you want to back and take a look. To quickly recap what we ordered, we started with a cheese plate, moved onto a pork chop, tenderloin steak, and for dessert had donut holes with chocolate and bourbon caramel sauce. You can see the full menu here, definitely go check it out if you’re in Seattle and have time. I have a feeling I will be back again very soon.
