On The Beach

Man am I missing Mexico. The sunshine, beach and margaritas sure were wonderful! I spent most of my days in a simple dress or cover up with a bathing suit on underneath (I was always prepared to hit the beach or lay out by the pool).

I didn’t wear hardly any make up, I’d just put on SPF, waterproof mascara and a bit of lip gloss. That’s one of my favorite things about tropical warm weather vacations, it’s easy to keep things simple when it comes to hair and makeup. This ruffled white dress is one I wore quite a bit, I loved that it was easy to mix and match jewelry and it inspired a bit of twirling as I’d walk down the beach. I scored the dress on sale at Nasty Gal, unfortunately it’s not available any more but I found a few options that are similar, you’ll see those once you get to the bottom of this post.
