The Capsule Project – Vision & Goals

I was so excited when my friend Jessi told me about The Capsule Project that she was starting. You can go here to read about her heart behind this project. I wanted to share a little bit of why I decided to jump on board with this project and what you can expect to see in the next few months!

My body has changed a LOT in the past 5 years. I have been pregnant 3 times which has really taken a toll on my body. Nothing fits the way it used to and I’ve practically had to get rid of all of my pre-pregnancy clothes. Last fall I got a head start on this project by cleaning out my closet and figuring out a little better how to dress my new body. But this was just the start of this process for me.

I’ve always been super hesitant about fashion posts, or talking about clothes. This is NOT about materialism. This is not about pride or any of the negatives that can be thrown at beauty and clothing posts. This is about finding myself in the woman God created me to be and walking confidently in that.

Feeling comfortable in my new body.

Finding clothes that make me feel beautiful and fit my lifestyle.

Being intentional in shopping & investing in quality items

Living in confidence.

Bright Colors
Stepping outside of my comfort zone
Flowy Tops
Pattern Mixing
Comfortable & Fun shoes
Comfortable & Fun “Mom clothes” for everyday

I’m turning 30 this year and I couldn’t be more excited to step into this new season of life! I’m crazy busy with my kids and all of the things I’m involved in, so finding the perfect style that fits my lifestyle is really exciting! I’m going to be focusing on some key areas of my wardrobe over the next few weeks/months. I’m excited to take this journey toward loving myself and being more confident in who I am!
