Maxi in Winter
Sometimes it's just easy to toss on all black and call it a day, right? At this point in the season, my creativity with wearing cold weather clothes is dwindling big time. Luckily spring seems to be right around the corner. At least here in York, PA!
I have worn this maxi dress so much over the last couple of years (last seen here). Of course, I like it best with a fedora and sandals, but sometimes it's nice to winterize maxis and take them for a spin when it's a bit chilly out. Wearing booties, jacket, scarf and hat is an easy, fool proof way to wear a maxi in the winter! I like to think I am getting it ready for the warm weather ahead!
Sometimes I feel weird rocking head to toe black, because I am not really a dark person, and I feel like I look like a poser of sorts (I know, who knows why I think things like that). But Sunday mornings are hectic, trying to get out the door by 8:45 for church (add to that just changing the clocks)-tossing on all black was just the easiest. And, I kind how it all came together!
