Welcome! I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about "Ms. G" (yes... that's me!) and the reasoning behind my blogging efforts! I'm not a fan of ancient history or monotonous history lessons, per se, so I'll keep my "history" short and sweet! 1. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in Sociology (and my love for sociology is evident throughout my original lessons and activities). 2. I graduated from Fresno Pacific University with my M.A. in Education (Curriculum and Teaching). 3. I founded and ran my own import/wholesale business at the age of 18, which acted as the impetus behind my entrepreneurial spirit! 4. I turned to writing as an additional source of income, and shortly transitioned to a professional freelance writer. Okay this is dragging.... and I somehow landed up in an 8th grade English Language Arts classroom located in Woodlake, California (60 miles from my home).... To be honest, I don't know why I didn't tap into my instincts earlier --- because I can't imagine having any other career! #classroomteacherforlife
