Slit that Off Shoulder Dress

Hey my fashion lovers! If you follow me on my new blog, STYLEanthropy, then you must have seen me post about my floral print and off-shoulder obsession from Sheinside last month. As much as I’d love to share with you my outfits on the daily, I have other posts too, and I don’t want to overwhelm you with too much. Don’t worry, I’m working on that and will be announcing something in the coming month! So anyway, when I shared with you my picks back then, this beautiful Sheinside off shoulder dress was already on its way to me. I wore this a few weeks back and I’m so sorry I only had the chance to post about it today. All I can say about this beautiful floral dress is that I LOVE IT!!! The off the shoulder cut that can double as a boat neckline, with that high slit that will give you the illusion of legs for days? I am obsessed. Take a look!

I felt so light and bright wearing this dress. Seriously! Can you tell I’m so happy in that photo above? There are just so many good things about this dress and the whole outfit that I really love.

First, like I said, I have an off-shoulder obsession right now. I also got this top and this dress. Come to think about it, I’ve actually been in love with off shoulder necklines for as far as I can remember. But I’m so happy that the fashion market is catching up to my favorite style. Haha. Seriously though, I’m so happy that there are so many options popping up right now. It’s probably the “IT” top/dress style of the season, thanks to the trending 70’s and Boho style. My inner flower child is so happy!!!

Aside from the off shoulder style, I also love the print. I’ve been telling you that I’m into palm prints recently… remember my skirt? So when I saw the palm leaves and tropical print, I was really sold. When it arrived, I was so excited to try it. It wasn’t until I was wearing it that it occurred to me how awesome that slit is. I mean, it gives the dress that subtle hawt factor. It gave me an illusion of LEGS FOR DAYS! And I didn’t need SUPER HIGH HEELS to achieve it!

Which brings me to the next thing that I super love about this outfit – the Naturalizer sandals. Do you know how comfy this pair is? And the fact that they are flat-forms makes me want to rejoice!!! I feel like I’m walking on air!

And finally, let me introduce you to my latest baby. I know you’ve seen it on my Instagram and other social media channels, and I’ve actually worn it in one of my recent outfit posts. But I never got to formally introduce you to her. So guys, meet Leidy. This taupe color is sold out but there’s still a black with croc version. I know she looks like a Celine nano luggage… and there’s something I’d like to talk about regarding bags that will probably require it’s own post… but in a nutshell, when Celine’s luggage totes came out, I really wanted to get one. But it’s one of those IT bags that I skipped on year after year, because I was saving up for a dream bag of mine. And by the time I could buy one, I lost interest on the bag. It’s still a gorgeous bag, no doubt. But it has become so common that I couldn’t justify the price of getting one.

So when I found this Mario Valentino bag that was pretty similar in style and shape, at a fraction of the cost, I got excited. For those who aren’t familiar with Mario Valentino, it’s completely different from Maison Valentino or Valentino Garavani. The latter is a haute couture designer. Mario Valentino, on the other hand, is a leather designer from Milano, Italy. Mario Valentino bags are sold on stores like Saks and Nordstrom with price points in the $500 to $1200 range. His bags are usually included in the sales unlike other premier brands that never go on sale. I got mine on sale of course, because I love a good deal!

Oh, and isn’t this necklace gorgeous? It’s by Jenny Bird. I have been admiring her accessories for years. But her pieces that I fall in love with are pretty pricey, and usually go for hundreds to even thousands of dollars. I just couldn’t justify buying one with so many wants on my bag / shoes / watch / sunglasses / fine jewelry must-have lists. OMG! Hahaha! But a girl can dream, right?

But anyway, this is why I love Rocksbox. I have been pushing it on my social media because I really see the value in it. It’s a designer jewelry subscription service that sends you a set of 3 pieces that you get to wear as much as you like. Then return it with the free shipping label included and they’ll send you a new set in the mail. So you can really enjoy several sets in a month, wearing different designer jewelry pieces every couple of days. If it so happens you really love a piece (or all), you can buy them from Rocksbox and keep it for yourself. As a member of Rocksbox, you even get a lower price. A subscription is only $19/month and you get a $10 shine spend each month that you can use towards buying from the pieces you receive. But you don’t have to use it if you don’t want to. Now, if you’re curious and want to try Rocksbox, I am giving you 1 month free, on me. You won’t pay a thing at all. Just sign up at rocksbox.com and enter the promo code myfashionjuicexoxo at checkout for one month free. Just cancel before your free 1 month ends and you won’t get billed at all. But like I said, if you love it, it’s only $19/month. That’s pretty great if you love designer accessories and love trying new trendy pieces every time.

Oh and yes, those Perry Street earrings and Loren Hope bracelet are also from Rocksbox! I was super happy to see these 3 together in my box because the hardware and stones all matched. I went to a wedding that week and these were perfect! I will have to share that outfit soon.
