How To: Glam Neutral Lip Look

The Grammy’s was this past Sunday and I LOVED so many of the makeup looks on the beautiful ladies attending the awards show. I did notice one thing in particular though. So many of my favorites were very simplistic and monotone with their makeup looks. All of them had on subtle, neutral eye shadows, muted blushes and a Glam Neutral Lip Look.
When I say Glam Neutral I mean that you KNOW they put something on their lips and even though it looks so natural and neutral it was probably well thought out and/or strategic. I decided that I wanted to show you how to do that yourself at home.
I decided that in order to create a Glam Neutral Lip Look I needed two products. The Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon in Sedona Sands and the Burt’s Bees 100% Natural Lip Gloss in Autumn Haze. They are both beautiful on their own, but together they create something truly special.
I am using the Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon because it has a creamy matte color that looks so pretty on the lips while also being rich in moisture. The gloss I am using has a gorgeous pearlized finish and is also nourishing and softens the lips.
{one} Line the lips with the Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon.
{two} Fill in the lips with Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon.
{three} Dab a touch of gloss in the center of the bottom lip to add dimension and create the illusion of a fuller pout.
These two tips are so simple yet so beautiful. I actually posted a picture on social media of myself wearing this Glam Neutral Lip look yesterday and a few people asked me to share the specifics.
