Cozy bedroom without windows

There is something about the design of this bedroom that makes me feel calm and protected somehow.

There are no openings to the outdoors and that can feel extremely awkward but the smart linear skylight brings an unearthly light into the room and creates an almost sacred ambiance. Which is exactly the point, to find a way to create a welcoming interior despite the lack of connection to the outside world.

Of course, it would be a lie to say that I wasn't originally attracted to this bedroom because of the tall archways and the terrazzo tiles that add and interesting pattern to this otherwise simple design.
