ESCAPE THE CITY

Extraño esos veranos en la universidad cuando tenía dos o tres meses de vacaciones y en verdad me podía olvidar de todo.

I miss those summers during college when you had two or three months off and you could basically forget about everything.

No me malinterpreten, me encanta ser blogger, pero hay momentos en que no distingo entre un sábado o un lunes o si es puente. Y cuando viajo, ese momento en que la gente “normal” descansa y se olvida de todo, es el momento en el que yo quiero trabajar más y aprovechar esa oportunidad, las nuevas locaciones, experiencias y crear diferente y nuevo contenido.

Hace algunas semanas no tenía ningún viaje a la vuelta de la esquina, estaba un poco cansada de la ciudad, de las mismas locaciones, así que decidí tomar cartas en el asunto e inventarme un mini viaje. Fui a “Tequila” un pueblito hermoso como a una hora de Guadalajara. Para ese día decidí ponerme un vestido vintage, muy de los 50′s y combinarlo con mi bolsa swagger que últimamente no me quito (al principio pensaba que el color azul iba a ser súper difícil de combinar pero se sorprenderían de con cuantas cosas me la he puesto). Aunque sea a una hora pero es lo máximo de vez en cuando, escapar de la ciudad.

Don’t get me wrong, I love being a fashion blogger, but there are times when I don’t distinguish between a Saturday, a Monday or a holiday. When I’m traveling, the time when “normal” people rest and forget about everything, I want to work more. I try to take advantage of the opportunity, the new locations and experiences to create new and different content.

A few weeks ago I didn’t have a new trip aroud the corner, I was a little tired of the city, seeking for a new location to shoot and fresh air, so I decided to take action on the matter and invented a mini trip. I visited a near town called “Tequila” one hour away from Guadalajara. For that day away, I decided to wear a vintage dress, very 50′s and girly, and mix it with my swagger bag that lately I’ve been wearing nonstop (at the beginning I thought that baby blue was difficult to match, but you’ll be surprise with how many things you can wear it). Even an hour away, it feels so good to escape the city.
