Jessica Robertson gloss line for Dr. Sun Rx

I never heard about Jessica Robertson before trying her line of beauty products she launched with Dr. Sun Rx. I’m always discovering everything in the american culture and Duck Dynasty was not the type of show that will have the chance to interested me … anyway, I received some nice products to test from the Jessica Robertson collection (tanning creams, bronzer, nailpolishes and lipglosses) and I wanted to begin by the gloss collection !

I’m not a big fan of lip glosses in general, it is probably the type of product that I like less in makeup. But sometimes, formulas and colors can steal my heart. Can I say that it is the case with these Jessica Robertson’s products ? Not exactly.

These lip glosses are nice by the way. There are available in 6 different shades and have an original packaging. The formula is very pigmented (maybe a little too much for the darkest ones = hard to remove) but not exceptionally hydrating. The wand is in the average, you sometimes need to re-plunge it in the tube to finish the application. The only really big issue for me is the scent that is too strong for me and not pleasant to my nose (make me think about a medicine I had to took when I was a kid and that I hated) … But despite of this very personal point of view, these lip glosses are pretty decent.

Beautiful colors right ? I really like the range of shades proposed, my favorites are Cotton candy and Nude for everyday and Berry for date night !
