Alcohol Ink Marble

Hi everyone! I've seen some really cool manis using these alcohol inks lately, so I snagged some over the weekend!

I started off with two coats of KBShimmer Eyes White Open, followed by one coat of SV. The alcohol inks I used for this were Citrus, Sail Boat Blue, and Purple Twilight. I put a few drops of Citrus on a plate, and tore off a small piece of a wedge sponge. Holding the piece of sponge with tweezers, since the inks will stain skin, I picked up the ink and dabbed it onto the nail.

I repeated this step with each color, using a new piece of the sponge. After I had the nail covered, I used another piece of the sponge and lightly dipped it in a bit of rubbing alcohol - using too much alcohol will bleed most of the colors out. I lightly tapped the nail with it to bleed the colors just a bit. I finished with one coat of SV.

I really love the end result. I'm so excited to play around a little more with these for different effects! I hope you enjoyed! Happy Painting!
