Part 2

Starting off with Burberry and wrapping up with Matthew Williamson, Candice Lake runs us through the second part of London Fashion week.

“My ‘bubble wrap’ inspired skirt by British designer Roksanda, was calling out to be ‘popped’ by anyone I met and caused quite a stir with a group of school children as I was going into the Erdem show.”

“Super cute Irene Kim had her signature multicolored hair that had me wondering if it was too late to call my colorist for a change—I fear I wouldn’t look as cute.”

“The second half of LFW was literally an explosion of color off the runway. Natalie Joos rocked an amazing alphabet Mary Katrantzou pink dress, Pandora Sykes continued her run of ’70s-inspired bombers and both girls rocked those ‘to die for’ Gucci boots.”

“On the runways we saw a lot more ’70s inspired looks—with brown and burgundy tones, soft suede and LOTS of fringing both at Burberry and Matthew Williamson—cementing that the 70’s is certainly here to stay.”
