The Wig: Nazuri Curls Wig Review + Discount Code

Finally I'm reviewing my new baby! If you follow me on Instagram you would have already seen me wearing my newest wig from Nazuri Curls. This wig is a longer length to my previous Nazuri Curls wig. I'm in love with this unit!

This wig is from Nazuri Curls it was made by Andree Marie Wigs via the Nazuri Curls website. Andree Marie wigs are custom made to order, once you place your order via the Nazuri Curls website you are sent a form to fill out, on this form you put your head measurements to ensure your wigs fits correctly. I have a large wig cap, and this wig fits snugly it has an elastic band installed with no combs for a more comfortable fit.

H A I R
This wig is hand made using Nazuri Curls 100% Virgin Afro Wefted hair. 2 bundles of hair was used to make this wig along with a no part closure for versatility.
1 X 22" bundle 1 X 20" bundle 1 X18" no part closure

The afro wefted hair is very versatile, it can be styled using twist outs, bantu knot outs and braid out. for longevity of your wig Nazuri Curls don't suggest you use heat on the wig. However I have used low heat and the hair reverts back to its original curl pattern.
C A R E
Like I've said before afro textured 100% virgin hair is high maintenance, you do need to take care of it, so keep this in mind when you are choosing your hair texture and length. Daily I use a 3/4 water to 1/4 conditioner. the conditioner I use is the Herbal Essence Clearly Naked Moisture Conditioner. I also use Argan Oil to seal the hair daily. I co wash and detangle the hair weekly with the same products.

The total cost of this wig is £397 including the wig making service, you can just order the hair and try your hand at making the wig yourself or find another wig maker.

R E V I E W
So I love it, This is a lot longer than I usually go with my wigs, when the wig arrives it was pretty big, I usually co wash the wig once it arrives and style in a brushed out fro however this hair was just too big for my face, so in order to tame her down I did a twist out using the products listed. the hair takes wonderfully to products and the twists always come out perfect. The match for my hair texture is about 90% where the hair leaves the closure the hair is a little on the silky side but I use a little matte dry shampoo to sort it out. I leave out about 3/4 of an inch around my hairline to blend my wig with my natural hair.

As always the quality of hair from Nazuri Curls is wonderful and the craftsmanship from Andree Marie Wigs is second to none. The elastic band and satin lined edges are a great addition from the wig maker and is great if you plan on wearing wigs for a long period of time. The longer length is quite high maintenance, the hair needs to be misted everyday and detangled regularly. The shedding on this wig is very little, the lace closure is knotted securely so no chance of a balding closure in 6-8 weeks. I have received so many complements on this wig, people really do assume it is my own until I tell them. Its very light weight and I feel it is secure even without the combs. This is an investment as the wig should last up to 2 years with proper care. I've been wearing Nazuri Curls hair since November and it's amazing quality.
