Turbo Fire: Week 1 Preview

Hey ladies and gentlemen! Long time no blogging. Whoops. It appears having a new baby in the house has slowed me down a bit. BUT, I am now more than 6 weeks post baby and ready to get rid of the baby body! So, now that I am doctor cleared to work out, I am going to be re-starting Turbo Fire from Day 1. My plan is to follow the workout plan as it is (no editing) and do my best to eat right. I know heading in to this that eating will be a big challenge for me. My hubby (and I ) love sweets, so it is a constant battle NOT to eat that stuff when it is in the house. As much as I love my hubby, he is one of those people who can eat whatever he wants and not gain any weight. I unfortunately was not blessed with those genes. I will be doing my first workouts today at some point when the baby is napping (and not in the moby wrap) or once my hubby gets home and he can take baby duty. I only have a week and a half left of maternity leave, so once that is over I'm pretty sure I"ll be doing morning workouts after the baby feeds at 4 a.m. Yikes. That is scary!!! I guess my bedtime will be EARLY to keep up!!! I really don't want my fitness to interfere with my family time. I also have to have a strict schedule to keep up with my teaching responsibilities and my fitness business on top of being a mom and wife. Whew. I'm tired just thinking about it! So, who else has done or is doing Turbo Fire? How were your results? I would LOVE to hear all about it! Not doing it yet, but want to be? Leave a comment and I'll get you some info! I know it is going to be a life changing journey for me inside and out!

My why

I want to get my "pre-baby body" back to keep up with my boys, as well as be a good role model for them to help combat childhood obesity. I want my boys to be brought up healthy and active whether they have my hubby's genes or not!
