LF Beauty Box May Unboxing

As you guys know I have a subscription to the LF Beauty Box. It’s a monthly thing where you get 6 deluxe samples of mostly luxury brands ranging from very famous brands to new brands. This month the theme of the box was “Get the glow”. I had no clue what to expect which made me even more excited to open it up and see what’s in there. Anyway, today I’m going to show you guys what came inside this month’s LF beauty box. If you’re interested in finding out, make sure you continue reading!

The first product that came inside this month’s box is the James Read Gradual Tan H2O mist. I have heard of this brand before and I have always liked the look of their packagings, so I was quite excited to see this product inside the box. However, I’m not that much of a tanner, my skin just doesn’t tan, so I’m not sure how often I’ll actually end up using it.

What I do appreciate about this product is that you get quite a lot of product and that it comes in its regular packaging. I really love the look of that!

James Read Gradual Tan H2O Mist – €24,45 (100ml), this is 30ml so €7,34

Moving on to the second item. This is the System Professional Solar Sun Oil. This is another sun product and since the weather is starting to get better and better I think it’s nice that this box is filled with products like this. I initially thought this was a body product, but it turns out it’s actually for your hair.

And that fact is was makes it so interesting to me. There aren’t a lot of products out there, or at least that I know of, that are meant to protect your hair from the sun even though that’s a very important thing to do. I can’t wait to give this a try and see what it does for me!

System Professional Solar Sun Oil – €41,45 (100ml), this is 30ml so €12,44

Onto the next item. This is the Nu Face Prep-N-Glow cloth. It’s a dual-sized cloth that is meant to cleanse, exfoliate and hydrate the skin at the same time. I’m usually not such a big fan of cleansing wipes/cloths for the face, but since this one does look pretty decent and because it claims to do more than just cleanse the skin I think it’s a pretty interesting product.

So far I have never heard of this brand before, but just by looking at the packaging I can already tell I’m probably going to like it. It just looks very professional and clean and I’m really interested to see what this is going to be like.

Nu Face Prep-N-Glow – €23,45 (20 cloths), I got 1 so €1,17

Next up is something different. This is a body care product. It’s the Scrub Love Hydrating Coconut Oil Body Scrub. It comes in quite a large bag and it’s filled with 100 grams of product which I really appreciate and it looks absolutely adorable. I’m not someone who scrubs very often, but when it starts to get warmer outside I do like to scrub my body every now and then.

The only slight downside to this product is the scent. I just can’t stand the smell of coconut. Of course that’s just something personal and it doesn’t matter at all, but I just wanted to mention it.

Scrub Love Hydrating Coconut Oil Body Scrub – €15,95 (200gr), this is 100gr so €7,98

Moving on to the Real Chemistry 3 Minute Peel. This is a very tiny tube with a really cute design on the packaging that is meant to make your skin look luminous in three minutes only. It does sound a little bit too good to be true, but since it’s such an expensive product I do have quite high hopes for it.

I’m not sure when I’m going to give this a try, but I will do so very soon and if you guys are interested I might even write a review about it. Let me know if you’re interested in that!

Real Chemistry 3 Minute Peel – €44 (50ml), this is 7ml so €6,16

Moving on to this little guy. This is the Glov Hydro Demaquillage Quick Treat. It’s a product that helps to remove makeup. And all you need to do so is use this and a bit of water. I have always been interested in trying a product as such, but I never ended up doing it, which is why I’m so excited about the fact that this product came inside this month’s box.

I’m definitely going to try this product out very soon and I’ll keep you updated on my thoughts on it and whether it actually works or not. I’m excited to find out!

Glov Quick Treat – €4,60

The last product that came inside this month’s box is an eyeshadow by Mellow cosmetics. I have received a product by this brand before, I believe it was around Christmas time, and I did really enjoy that product so I’m glad to see this brand again. I also really like that it’s an eyeshadow since I really love eyeshadow.

The colour of the shadow is called cream and it’s a gorgeous champagne highlighting shade. I stopped loving baked shadows a long time ago, but since this is a good brand I do have high hopes for it!

Mellow Baked Shadow – €7,45

Total worth: €47,14

Overall this month’s box was pretty okay, but it wasn’t the best box I have ever seen. I’m starting to get less and less excited about it which is why I cancelled the auto-renewal option and I’ll only be receiving it until September. Anyway, I do think that there were quite a few nice products in here like the Mellow eyeshadow and the James Read mist, but there aren’t a lot of product in this box that I would actually use on a regular basis.

With that being said I think it’s time to bring this post to an end. Thank you guys so much for reading it and be sure to let me know what you think of this month’s LF Beauty Box and of beauty boxes in general!

XOXO, Nicole.
