Swatches & Review: piCture pOlish - LakoDom, Cyan and Moscow
To say this post has been long overdue would be a huge understatement. I have nothing to say in my defence, so let's just get to it. New-ish piCture pOlish 2014 collaboration shades are here: LakoDom, Cyan and Moscow.
LakoDom, 3 coats
LakoDom was created with Polina from
LakoDom (Russian on-line stockist). It's an off white jelly version of the
oh-so-famous and gorgeous signature shattered holo shimmer piCture pOlish shades. I used 3 coats for the photos, but it could be worn as a see through veil for your nails. Delicate and beautiful.
Cyan, 3 coats
Cyan was made in collaboration with Canadian blogger Marta from
Chit Chat Nails. It a blue jelly with scattered holographic shimmer. It dries smooth on the nails and it contains no glitter. This one makes me miss summer (although I don't miss the heat at all) and reminds me of the days I spent by the pool in Greece with a Blue Lagoon cocktail in my hand. Very specific, huh?
Moscow, 2 coats
Moscow was created with Sasha Plein from
nail-ru.com. It's a red/purple maroon shade packed with holographic shimmer. It's so gorgeous my sister claimed it as hers the second she saw it. Her words were: "It suits me much better and you already have a lot of nail polish. Plus, my
Monroe shade is running out." I think I have to mention piCture pOlish Monroe is her all time favorite nail polish shade and Moscow comes quite close to it (not dupes though!).
So, do you have your favorite among these three shades? Maybe you even own one or two (or all) of them. Let me know!
