An Easy Smokey Eye Look

::press samples/self purchased/affiliate::
A smokey eye is easy as pie. Especially when I have great eye shadows and a huge latte delivered to me at my dressing table by my husband person. Yasss!

For this look I used:

Mirabella Myth Visionary Long Wear Eye Shadow as a creme colour base over my current fave of life eye primer, Lorac Behind the Scenes Eye Primer creates a crease and budge proof foundation for a gradation of BFTE Coffee Collection shadows. While this collection isn't available, any longer, you can use similar shadows to create this sort of look very easily.
I applied Turkish Coffee all over my lid, leaving the inner fourth open, then worked Good to the Last Drop into my crease and blew it out up onto my orbital bone then pulled it along under my lower lash line. I used Java Junkie and Foam on top, blended together to highlight my brow bone and inner corner then, using a firm pencil brush I feathered it into the lid colour to give more light to the inner third of my lid. I curled my lashes... Kinda. Tight lined and lined my upper lash line with L'Oreal Infallible Gel Lacquer Liner in Espresso. And finished by slapping on a coat of Urban Decay Perversion Mascara.

On my cheeks is Physicians Formula Argan Wear Blush in Natural with a little Rose along the tops of my cheekbones and I gilded the lily by adding a little Mirabella Swirling Pearl Brilliant Mineral Based Highlighter. Golly, I love that highlighter... I grab it and use it, every excuse I get.
Lips are lined with Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner in East End Snob and Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Shine in 08 Pink in Confidence over some lip gloss I had on earlier in the day.

#wurlyhairdonotcare One of these days, I'm going to get a handle on that chaos on the top of my head. I do better with very long hair. I can swiftly put it in an intricate bun, anchor it with a gorgeous clip or pair of hair sticks and forget about it. When it's short, I have to screw with it and it doesn't always end well.
In case you're curious my necklace is the Loop Layered Necklace in gold from Bauble Bar. As of this blog post being written, it is still priced at ten dollars. Can't say how long that price will last. If you like it, jump on it!
I find myself wearing a smokey eye or a version thereof on a pretty regular basis. It's easy, works for my hooded lids and I can make good use of my hoard collection of neutral eye shadows. How about you? Are you a smokey eye look lover? Do you prefer brights, darks, neutrals? Please do tell.
