Nine Picks from Alexander Wang’s H&M Collection

The industry is all abuzz over the biggest event on the high street this year, and if you aren’t muttering, “Not another Alexander Wang for H&M post,” I’m inclined to enquire as to where you’ve been for the last few months. Alexander Wang‘s sports-centric collaboration with H&M launches next month (November 6, pencil it in) and it’s everything one has come to expect from the designer, whose name has become ubiquitous, unavoidable even in the conversations of girls at my sartorially-ignorant suburban Sydney high school.

No doubt by now you’ve seen the collection in its entirety and your biggest concern at the moment is developing an action plan for the launch day. If past H&M collaborations have shown anything, it’s that arriving early and knowing what you want is crucial — unless you’re okay with exponential markups on eBay, in which case I would suggest you forgo the H&M collection entirely and opt for a piece from the main line. But I digress.

The point of this is to say that I’ve exercised the powers of my discerning eye — or something like that — and compiled a selection of nine pieces from the collection to consider, complete with prices (see below). You’re welcome.
