I had a fun surprise show up at my door early this month – the December POPSUGAR Must Have Box! It was as if Christmas came a few weeks early.

My favorite item of the entire box – I can’t wait to dazzle up simple winter outfits with a bit of gold sparkle. I appreciate that there’s a lot of fabric to go around.

Sparklepop Sydney Necklace | $42

Not necessarily my style at first sight, but I do like the surprisingly long length. Would work as an easy accessory for a holiday dress. 18K gold-plated.

Canvas Dauville Platinum Bowl | $29

Could sit subtlety on a dresser to hold jewelry or a watch. Hand-painted platinum interior.

Smashbox Be Legendary Long-Wear Lip Lacquer | $24

I’m not sure how I feel about long-wear lip lacquer (they are not kidding when they say it lasts a while!), but the dark, rich color is certainly winter party appropriate.

Knot & Bow Parcel Tags | $4

Cute, crafty, classy. Not sure when I’ll use them, but not a bad thing to have around.

Williams-Sonoma Cupcake Mix in Vanilla Bean | $14.95

It’s no surprise that I’m not a boxed mix kind of a girl, but I could see how someone could dress up this simple vanilla bean mix for a winter celebration. Williams-Sonoma is a favorite of mine for sure though.

Seeing as that it’s the holiday season and all, there is a Special Edition Holiday Box for Her and for him, but boxes make wonderful surprise gifts all year round.
